BLANK ZIEH’N

blank zieh’n is a photographic series of nude portraits of close friends, made with a Game Boy Camera. The pixelated image interrupts conventional representations of the nude and shifts the focus toward intimacy, trust and friendship.

Printed on transparent Plexiglass, the photographs address visibility and vulnerability, and the ways a generation raised through screens encounters bodies, nudity and intimacy.
